Mini Luke Skywalker 🪐 amigurumi free pattern

Two friends had an adorable baby and they asked me to make them some mini-amigurumis Star Wars 💫 themed to hang on his mobile. It’s been very funny for me, as I am a huge fan of the saga and I can’t wait to see them mounted on Lorenzo’s crib ♥️
I already published the pattern to make Yoda (or Grogu), today I want to share with you the Luke Skywalker amigurumi free pattern: he is the handsome, blonde and selfless protagonist. Can you guess who my favourite character is? 😂

Materials needed:

Domigurumi Sport cotton in nude, white, ivory, light brown, yellow, some brown and black for the embroidery
2 mm crochet hook
yarn needle
fiberfill

I used Domigurumi Sport cotton with a 2 mm crochet hook, but remember that you can use the cotton you prefer or already have, you just need to match it with the right hook size!

Let’s start making the legs, then join them and keep working to make body and head.

In light brown

6 sc in a magic ring
6 sc

Change color – IVORY – in the last st of the previous round.

3. BLO 6 sc
4-5. 6 sc (3 ROUNDS)
Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail. Repeat the instructions to make the second leg and keep working without fastening off. Ch 3, then make 1 sc on the first leg (it will be the first st of the next round).

6 sc around the first leg, 3 sc in the chain, 6 sc around the second leg, 3 sc on the other side of the chain (18)

2-3. 18 sc (2 ROUNDS)

Change color – NUDE – in the last st of the previous round.

Fasten off leaving a yarn tail. Using the yarn needle weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the 6 remaining stitches and pull it tight to close. Use the tail to embroider the nose and black yarn for the eyes.

Jacket

In white, work in rows

Ch 11
Starting from the second ch from hook make 10 hdc, ch 1 and turn
inc, 8 hdc, inc, ch 1 and turn (12)
inc, 10 hdc, inc, ch 1 and turn (14)
inc, 12 hdc, inc, ch 1 and turn (16)
sc-inc, 14 sc, 3 sc in the next st, 6 sc on the side of the jacket, 2 sc in the chain, 8 sc, 2 sc in the chain, 6 sc on the side, slst in the first sc.

Sew the jacket on Luke and embroider the belt with brown yarn.

Arms

In nude

4 sc in a magic ring
4 sc

Change color – WHITE – in the last st of previous round.

3-5. 4 sc (3 ROUNDS)

Fasten off leaving a yarn tail to sew the arms on the body.

Hair

In yellow

Fasten off leaving a yarn tail and use it to sew the hair on Luke’s head. Use the same tail to embroider the eyebrows.
